The bikes await us for another exciting day.

Chris J. already thinking
"When can we do this again?"

Another welcome break time.
We're not all in it, but this is one of my favorite shots.

Scenic overlook with some significance.
Part of the Baja race course, we're told this is a treacherous
and common getting off point. (off to the right, there)

That's the reason for this barren area down the hillside.
Luke and Rad. Try to smile!

And.....we're off again.

A definite highlight of the trip was coming over a rise and seeing the Pacific spread out in front of us. And then smelling it.

Here, we stop to take a look around.

We cruised through a couple of oceanside
villages before stopping for this break.

Can't miss Fred. :^)

Not sure where this shot was taken, but it
looks like the ocean behind George.

Two of the many Mexi-kids that made us feel welcome.

Another great lunch! You see us taking off from here in the video.

Steve, Tim, and Lucas take a siesta
while waiting for the rest of us.

Our stop for the third night at the
Mad Dog Cantina~Horsepower Ranch
in Ensenada, which is a private resort
catering mostly to the 4-wheeled Baja
racing community. They even build
Baja buggies on-site in their shop.

The cantina at the Horsepower Ranch.
Tim, what are you doing in the fireplace?

After the "wild turkey"?

No.......

A Baja Bound tradition at the Horsepower
Ranch, Tim brands "bb" onto the leather
upper of Luke's riding boot.

Not that you'd ever forget a trip like this, nevertheless, it's kind of cool to have. Says you're a Baja veteran.
Lucas gets branded.

Our two sweep riders for this trip, Jim (left) and Chilly (right).
Some more serious eatin', which
is very good in Baja, by the way.
